  • The Practitioner has fully explained the treatment and the procedure involved either verbally or in writing or a combination of both.

  • I understand that Reiki treatment involves light physical touch with no need to remove clothing except for coats and shoes.  Respect for personal body privacy will be maintained at all times.

  • I accept the fee payable and note that 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellation for full refund. For less than 48 hours’ notice, a 50% fee will be charged. For less than 24 hours’ notice, full fee is charged.  No show and late arrival, full fee is charged.   

  • The practitioner reserves the right to refuse or postpone treatment if they feel physically unsafe, disrespected or abused.

  • The practitioner reserves the right to refuse treatment if the client is under the influence of alcohol or mind-altering substances.

  • The practitioner reserves the right to refuse treatment if the client is intimidating or offensive, in a physical or sexual manner, or otherwise.

  • The practitioner reserves the right to refuse treatment if the client behaves in any way which may lead the Reiki Practitioner to feel physically unsafe, disrespected or abused. This also applies to animals that may be aggressive or reactive.

  • In the case of late attendance of the client, the practitioner may exercise discretion in only giving treatment for the remaining time left of the appointment or in refusing treatment.

  • The practitioner reserves the right to refuse treatment if Reiki is requested to avoid necessary medical treatment or medication.

  • The practitioner reserves the right to refuse treatment if red flag symptoms are evident or a notifiable disease is suspected that requires notification.

  • The practitioner reserves the right to refuse treatment if matters are/become evident that must be legally reported.

  • Reiki can do no harm.

    

Privacy

  • All client information and treatment records will remain entirely confidential.

  • No disclosure is made to a third party without the client’s consent, unless it is required by due process of the law.
